Don’t run... slow down...

Simple words…pure…coming out from the mouth and heart of a little child...so simple as his eyes and laughter...

And they express, in a parallel way, our worries and anxiety for the unjust loss of so many people...hundreds and thousands of young children on the altar of the highway... in this unjust and illogical sacrifice which we gave the name: Traffic accident.

Don’t run...slow down... slow down mum...slow down dad... slow down...

Don’t run...slow down... slow down my friend, who wants to run faster than the wind...

Don’t run...slow down... slow down my travelling friend, who wants to get there first....

Don’t run...slow down...slow down my young one, who want to compete with your vehicle, the sun...but learn this, that the sun rises and sets... and starts over again with security in his travelling, for thousands of years...

Don’t run...slow down...please slow down... and learn how to take our advice and directions seriously...

And learn how to respect your life... learn how to appreciate this amazing gift... and steer your own directions... your own thoughts and will...your own judgement... your own decisions...

Don’t run, I beg of you, slow down...
